MOULD CONSTRUCTION
The technical department is responsible for the mould design. The mould building is then carried out by our partner toolmakers, in compliance with our technical layout.
In addition to this, for particularly complex projects we make use of casting simulation programs.
Our internal toolshop is responsible for the ordinary and extraordinary mould maintenance, which is of utmost importance to guarantee the quality of castings.
Ordinary maintenance is made up of some standard operations (such as the ultrasonic mould cleaning) carried out before starting the production.
The internal toolshop can also enable prompt intervention in case of problems during the production process. Moreover, the toolshop can also make changes to moulds, both upon Client’s request and on their own initiative (in order to improve the quality during production).
