Garmetal is strongly convinced that  a strict organization and management of processes are of utmost importance to the realization of a high-quality casting. 

Hence, each stage of the production cycle is regulated by specific procedures and instructions, that follow the UNI EN ISO 9001: 2015 standard.

Moreover, the die-casting process is fully managed by a ICS (Inject Control System), that checks in real time all the injection parameters settled and it scraps the out-of-tolerance castings.

The processes related to quality and production are completely ruled by a MES (Manufacturing Execution System), thanks to which the business process can be handled in a integrated and efficient manner, implementing the complete digitalization of the Company.

Moreover, the focus on process quality with the aim to realize a qualitative excellent product, is accomplished through the complete control of each stage of the production cycle. 

In particular, to reach this goal, great attention is paid on raw material and mould management.  

The raw material is melted in a centralized melting furnace in order to optimize the slagging of the alloy and, therefore, remove any kind of impurities and hard spots. 

At the same time, a correct management of the mould allows to reach the following goals:  

• Extend the life of the mould, in terms of number of shots
• Keeping the dimensional characteristics of the casting
• Decrease or eliminate defects, such as: burrs, deformations, imperfections and others

To this end, the toolshop is responsible for the ordinary and extraordinary mould maintenance, as well as the changes.

Thanks to either those instruments or its structure, Garmetal is able to monitor the processes and to timely intervene, where deviations from the standard exist.
